KCL Engineering Welcomes Jake Price as Energy and Industrial sector Leader


KCL Engineering is excited to announce the addition of Jake Price, PE as the Iowa City Lead, further strengthening the firm’s presence in the Iowa City market. Jakes brings a robust background in energy system design, project management, and client relationship building with expertise in utility power plants, heavy industrial and chemical facilities, campus boiler plants, and steam and chilled water distribution systems across the Midwest.


As a Principal Mechanical Engineer for the past two years, Jake led concept generation and managed complex projects for large institutional, industrial, and utility clients. Prior to that, Jake served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, managing a wide range of energy projects and fostering capability to tackle and resolve complex challenges.


Throughout his career, Jake has consistently demonstrated a talent for developing innovative, sustainable, and practical solutions. His personal approach and natural ability to build strong relationships have made him a trusted advisor to clients seeking efficient, effective pathways to achieve their project goals.
