Matt Faber, PE, LEED AP joins KCL Engineering as the firm's 30th employee and 13th senior professional. Hiring Matt continues our commitment to finding outstanding consultants within our industry to further strengthen KCL as the best group of engineers in Iowa.
Prior to joining KCL Engineering, Matt led large and complex energy performance contracting programs. These projects involved needs analysis, energy auditing, energy calculations, engineering, project scoping, financial analysis and implementation of energy-saving measures. Matt guided UnityPoint, Mercy, Iowa State University, and The University of Iowa on millions of square feet of work and will continue KCL's track record of delivering extremely energy-efficient projects.
Matt's experience also includes HVAC design for healthcare, higher ed, k-12, government, commercial office, and data centers. His diverse projects have ranged from $500,000 to $100 million in construction costs with numerous energy-efficiency achievements.
