KCL Engineering welcomes Stormy Shanks, PE as its newest associate. Beginning her KCL career in 2016 at the company's headquarters in West Des Moines, Iowa, Stormy's move to Portland, Oregon in 2017 put in motion a strategic plan to bring KCL's signature consulting style to the Pacific Northwest. Stormy established a KCL Portland office in 2018, which has grown to include six team members and a presence in Eugene.
Stormy's leadership has been integral to KCL's success. Along with leading Portland operations, in which she directs projects, team members, and business development efforts, Stormy is the lead mechanical engineer on the firm's largest project to date; a $350 million luxury beachfront golf and residential development in Maui, Hawaii.
KCL Engineering is eager to engage Stormy's influence at the ownership level as the company stays on an active growth trajectory.
