Meet KCL's 2017 Summer Interns!

We are having a blast with three interns this summer! Here is just a glimpse of how great they are!

Kyle Wilkerson - Mechanical Engineering Intern

Kyle is no stranger to KCL. He first interned with KCL at the end of his junior year of high school in 2014 when he first thought of pursuing a career in engineering. He has returned ever since! Kyle is never far from his original stomping grounds of Adel, Iowa where he and his sister grew up on an acreage helping their parents raise cattle and poultry. A student at Iowa State University, Kyle is majoring in Materials Engineering and is on course to graduate with his degree in May 2019.

Kyle is awesome because he continually demonstrates growth as an intelligent engineering protégé and budding young professional.

Megan Reding - Electrical Engineering Intern

Megan left her home state of Tennessee to become a part of the KCL team for the summer. Her family back south consists of her mom and dad and three siblings, two of which share her exact birthday. Yes, Megan is a triplet! A stint in Iowa this summer provides Megan with a great opportunity to work on multiple projects and develop software skills. Megan is majoring in Industrial Engineering at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and has plans to graduate in May 2019.

Megan is awesome because she simply walked in the door one afternoon, handed us a resume, and fearlessly asked for a summer internship. We love her thrill seeking spirit!

Nate Boland - Electrical Engineering Intern

Nate comes to us from Iowa City where he grew up with his Mechanical Engineer Dad, Health Teacher Mom and three sisters. He attends Central College in Pella, Iowa where he is the starting quarterback for the Dutch! Nate is also part of the Engineering Program and has plans to graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering in the Spring of 2018. His status as a hard core Cubs fan is one that fits the mold at KCL.

Nate is awesome because of his unwavering allegiance to both work and sport, seeming to effortlessly manage each. We admire his amazing work ethic!
