Until November 2, 2016, the last Chicago Cubs World Series championship was only 15 years after the ferris wheel's debut at the World's Fair in Chicago in 1893. While Cubs fans were waiting for another world series victory, a lot had changed, including the lighting systems for ferris wheels.
KCL's assistance selecting, installing, and programming a new lighting system for Adventureland's ferris wheel was extraordinarily rewarding for our team of Cubs fans. Mimicking the "W" flag was such a thrill, and being able to see it shine brightly in our own backyard made the Cubs victory even sweeter.
